This piece was inspired by a neighbor who just wasn't able to make her feelings known to those close to her. She tried, but was stymied by the patriarchy embedded in our culture. She was lost in the agony of not being able to express her true self and was forced to live a heartbreaking misunderstanding.
The Process
Created with experimental electronic orchestration, incorporating sampled and live synchronous granular synthesis, which resulted in an altered sonic perspective.
